C'est avec tristesse que j'apprends le décès de notre ami ROB-JAX ( Administrateur du UK ERIBA FORUM )

To all friends, correspondents and anyone who has met Rob at an EribaFest,

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to inform you that Robert died unexpectedly on Saturday 3rd January 2009.

He had been suffering with heart failure due to an imperfect aortic valve for the last 2 years but he was active and still working with the condition under control by medication and visits to the hospital.

I always expected him to die before me but I was hoping for at least another 10 years together, 54 is a very young age to die.

He was the love of my life and we very happy together.

If anyone would like the details of his funeral then send me a PM.

C'est avec un cœur très lourd que je dois vous informer que Robert est décédé brutalement le samedi 3 Janvier 2009.

Il avait été souffrant d'insuffisance cardiaque en raison d'une valve aortique imparfaite pour les 2 dernières années mais il a été actif et travaille toujours avec la condition de contrôle par des médicaments et des visites à l'hôpital.

J'ai toujours attendu de lui à mourir avant moi, mais j'espérais au moins un autre 10 ans en même temps, 54 est un très jeune âge de mourir.

Il a été l'amour de ma vie et nous très heureux ensemble.

Si quelqu'un souhaite les détails de ses funérailles puis envoyez-moi un PM.

"Sender: Rob_JaxSubject: Eriba towing instability / tyre inflation pressures Hello Christophe, On this forum you may have read about some Eriba owners experiencing instability when towing Eriba Triton and Troll models (manufactured 2002 until now), and that we believe that the instability problem is caused because the wrong pressures are listed in the Eriba owners manual - or at least the listed tyre pressures disagree with the recommended pressures from the Tyre Manufacturer Association for reinforced tyres. Some Eriba caravans appear to have been fitted with normal car tyres - and in these cases the recommended 2,4 bar seems to be correct. But some Eriba caravans appear to have been fitted with "reinforced" or "commercial" tyres - and it is these tyres that have the recommendation of an incorrect tyre pressure. When we have increased the tyre pressures - the towing stability problems have disappeared. We would like to suggest a joint e-mail to the technical team at Eriba SA and ask them for their written recommendations. Regards, Robert "
